Twitter has doubled the character limit for its paid subscribers, allowing them to post tweets up to 10,000 characters long. The company has also introduced a new subscription service called “Subscriptions” that allows users to charge people for exclusive content.
The increased character limit is a major change for Twitter, which has had a 280-character limit for tweets since 2017. The company says that the change was made in response to feedback from users who wanted to be able to share more information in their tweets.

The new subscription service is also a major change for Twitter. The company has been experimenting with different ways to make money from its platform, and Subscriptions is its latest attempt. The service allows users to charge people $3, $5, or $10 per month for exclusive content, such as subscriber-only chats in Spaces.
Twitter is hoping that the new features will attract more users to its paid subscription service, Twitter Blue. The company says that it has seen “strong growth” in Twitter Blue since it launched in 2021.
It remains to be seen whether the new features will be enough to convince users to sign up for Twitter Blue. The company is facing increasing competition from other social media platforms, such as TikTok and Instagram.
